This unit has so many features we really don't know where to begin - for those who have been wanting a device with a big backlit screen to display gauges in real time as you drive, this unit has that built right in. You can even display things like the EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) or your engine's Air/Fuel ratios if you have the additional equipment required to provide the analog 0-5v signals the Livewire already has designed in! For A/F's, you can use our Innovate Motorsports LM1 or LC1 wideband A/F device, etc., which can be connected to the Livewire via it's analog input ports! LIVEWIRE arrives PRE-LOADED with "canned" tune files - simply select one of the pre-configured options such as 87 - 93 Octane Performance or Maximum Fuel Economy, flash your vehicle and enjoy driving until your custom tunes are ready, or until you are ready to have your vehicle custom tuned! (If you want your Livewire device to be custom tuned up front, please order our Part # 9600-T instead.) You can also simply order this unit, Part# 9600 and use it's "canned" tunes now, and then later on call us to have us do our custom tuning your vehicle if you want the best results. We can load up to 3 of our world-famous Troyer Performance Custom Tunes into the device, while retaining the PRE-LOADED SCT "canned" tune files for future use!! Want to data log your vehicle? No problem! LIVEWIRE also features high speed USB data logging of multiple OBD-II PCM parameters! It also has a dedicated wideband air/fuel monitoring port, the ability to datalog an additional analog signal, and real-time instrumentation. You can easily configure the LIVEWIRE display screen to show important information at a glance! IMPORTANT NOTE: Anything that the PCM does not output via the OBD-II port, such as Air/Fuel ratios, supercharger boost, or EGT's (Exhaust Gas Temperatures) are able to be displayed via a converted 0-5v signal via additional equipment/sensors. This means being able to see the Air/Fuel ratio display, for example, requires an external Air/Fuel ratio device (such as the Innovate Motorsports LC-1), or a MAP Sensor for boost, etc. Everything that the PCM itself outputs (which is virtually everything except A/F's, boost & EGT's)you can see right on your Livewire right out of the box with NO additional equipment needed. Want to measure your vehicle's performance? No problem! Measuring your vehicle’s HP, TQ, 0-60 ET, ¼ Mile ET and Fuel Mileage has never been easier. LIVEWIRE estimates your vehicle’s performance based on data monitored from the vehicle’s computer. Now you can easily measure performance gains before and after you make vehicle modifications, plus monitor your fuel economy! (*Due to variables such as wheel spin, wind, etc., all power ratings are estimates only.) The SCT LIVEWIRE also includes a Windshield Mounting bracket. Datalogging can be done on the device for later review on the Livewire or can be loaded onto your PC or laptop. 8.) Datalogging can also be done for longer periods, with more parameters and at higher speeds by using a laptop and SCT's free LiveLink software, just like the XCalibrator 2. 9.) Read and Clear OBD-II DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes). 10.) USB connection port to connect to virtually any laptop or PC-type computer (Windows-based). 11.)
